Jerod C. Fenton

CFP®, AIF®

Building thoughtful plans from all the moving parts.

Since 2003, I've worked with hundreds of families and businesses, helping them sort through complex financial decisions and build plans that align with their goals, values, and long-term priorities.

My Story

A personal approach
rooted in experience.

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for building, whether it's restoring old cars, remodeling houses, or developing a financial plan. I love the challenge and satisfaction I find in designing and building.

Often, clients show up in my office with a box of "financial parts" and I have the privilege of sorting through them to determine what is missing, what should be replaced, and what can be used to build a financial plan that accomplishes their goals.

Since 2003, I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of families and businesses.

Over that time, I have developed wonderful client relationships and find great satisfaction in knowing that I have helped many of my clients make financial decisions that have lifelong positive impact.

My Family and I

I married my college sweetheart Monica in January of 2007. In 2008, we returned to my home town of Valley Center, California with plans to raise our family. Since we have moved to "the country", we have added our son Walker and our daughter Trevisan to our family.

Both Monica and I consider ourselves athletes (I am taking some liberty in using the term these days!). Monica is a professional softball instructor who does her best to keep me in shape. In our free time, we enjoy outdoor activities such as mountain biking, off road motor sports with our family in local deserts, boating on local lakes and rivers, never-ending home improvement projects…thanks to Monica, and participating in activities with our church.

My Philosophy

A steady hand. A clear plan. A life well-lived.

We can't control the markets, but we can control how we prepare. I believe the best plans are simple, tax efficient, and aligned with the life you want to live. My role is to bring structure to complexity and perspective to every decision.

Rooted in Valley Center

I returned to my hometown of Valley Center in 2008, and I'm proud to raise my family here. There's nothing quite like the space, community, and slower pace of life in North County.

I enjoy mountain biking, off-road motor sports, boating, and working on home projects. My faith and involvement in church are an important part of my life.

I'm grateful to serve families and businesses across North County San Diego. It's home, and it's where my heart is.

A passion for financial literacy.

Born and raised in Escondido, Rosario brings strong technical training, an outgoing personality, and a deep commitment to helping clients make wise financial decisions while strengthening the culture of RED Seven.

My Story

A passion for finance and
a commitment to clients.

I am a born and raised San Diegan who has lived in Escondido my entire life and attended San Pasqual High School.

All four of my grandparents immigrated to this country from Fascist Italy after World War II with the dream of building a better life in the United States. Growing up around them taught me perseverance, hard work, and the value of the American Dream.

I was drawn to financial planning because I have always had a passion for finance and enjoy using my outgoing personality to help others.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University in just 3 years with a degree in Financial Services. I then earned my MBA from the University of San Diego.

In July 2025, I passed the CFP® exam.

I have always admired Warren Buffett's investing philosophy and believe the stock market rewards patience. One of my biggest passions is promoting financial literacy among our clients and contributing to the great culture at RED Seven.

My Family and I

Some of my hobbies include lifting weights, playing golf, going kayaking, watching the NFL and MLB (Go Padres), listening to 60s and 70s oldies, and hanging out with my friends and family. Most of my friends and family would describe me as one of the most outgoing people they know who is incredibly people oriented. I speak Italian, and especially enjoy going to Italy every few years with our family to see our extended family outside of Rome and in Sicily. I am incredibly close with my brothers Ferdinando and Salvatore, and we all enjoy hanging out together. I have been a parishioner at the Immaculata Church at USD for the last 12 years and have found a great community within the church. I am looking forward to continuing a great career in financial planning, putting our clients first.

Patience. Education. Putting clients first.
